Come try Lindy Hop for free! Lindy Hop is a fun swing dance with a playful and laid-back nature with roots in the 1930's Harlem. Lindy Hop is a partner dance where everyone can move in their own way and develop their own style.
The free taster class will be held at Merikosken koulu (Merikoski school at Itäkangastie 9, 90500 Oulu) on Thursday August 25th at 19.00-20.00. You can bring your own partner or come alone as we rotate partners during the class. Teacher for the taster class is Matleena Haapalainen who will also be teaching the beginners course that starts on September 14th. If you feel like Lindy Hop is the dance for you, information on the course and registration can be found at swingo.fi/dance-classes.
Please do not come to the taster class if you have flu symptoms. Let's all take care of hand hygiene (there is hand sanitizer available at the venue).
